I disagree entirely. It might be disingenuous to suggest it, but Michael Jackson’s tragic death will ultimately have raised his profile and increased sales of his back-catalogue. In this sense, the news itself is an advert for the product. And, let’s be clear, this is a great product and his musical legacy (as I wrote here) is the best way to remember him.
